Privacy policy
Last updated October 1, 2026. Teralyt Software LLC (“we”) runs Minute of Fame at minuteoffame.lol. This page says what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. Questions: support@minuteoffame.lol.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address (from Google sign-in or an email sign-in link) and the handle you choose. Your handle is public; your email never is.
- What you publish: the title, link, description, logo and start-of-minute effect of minutes you own or rent, and community posts. These are public by design: they air for everyone watching.
- What you do in the market: claims, offers, rentals, interceptions, your balance and its history (a ledger of every money movement), and cash-outs.
- Emails you ask for: if you subscribe to a reminder or watch a minute, we keep that address to send those emails, each with an unsubscribe link. If you leave an email with a community post, we use it only to tell you once when the post airs.
- Reports: when you report a minute we keep the reason you chose and any details you wrote. Reporters aren’t shown to anyone, including the people reported.
- Anonymous activity: a random visitor cookie lets us count viewers, reactions, waves and votes (one vote per visitor) and limit abuse. It isn’t linked to your account.
- Moderation records: what the AI check decided about submissions it saw (kept 90 days), refused submissions that count toward a temporary mute (kept 2 days), and mutes. For anonymous posters we store a one-way hash of the IP address, never the address itself.
- Usage analytics: Google Analytics records pages visited, rough location, device and browser, so we can see how the site is used. It uses its own cookies.
What we don’t collect
We never see your card number: payments are handled by Stripe. We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who else processes it
- Google Cloud and Firebase (United States) host the site, the database, file storage and sign-in.
- Stripe processes card payments, refunds and disputes, and payouts. If you cash out, Stripe collects identity and bank details to verify you, under Stripe’s privacy policy; we keep only references to your Stripe account and payouts.
- Resend sends our emails (receipts, reminders, notices).
- OpenRouter and the AI model provider it routes to (currently Google’s Gemini) check submissions for safety before they appear: handles, titles, links, descriptions, logos and community posts. They receive the submission itself, not your email or account details.
- Google Web Risk may check the links you submit against lists of unsafe sites.
- Google Analytics, as described above.
Cookies and storage
__session: keeps you signed in (up to 14 days).mof_anon: the random visitor cookie (one year).- Google Analytics cookies (
_gaand similar). - Your browser’s local storage keeps, on your device only: preferences (the palette, music on/off and volume, start-of-minute effects, closed-beta access), the email address you’re signing in with until the sign-in link is used, and drafts of minute content you started before signing in.
How long we keep it
Account data stays while your account exists. Published content stays while it airs and in the minute’s history. Records of payments, the ledger and receipts are kept as long as the law requires for accounting and tax (usually up to 7 years), even after an account is deleted. Moderation records expire as described above.
Your choices and rights
- Edit your minute’s content and your handle from your account.
- Unsubscribe from any reminder or watch with the link in its email.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account at support@minuteoffame.lol. We’ll answer within 30 days. Deleting an account releases your handle and removes your published content; records we must keep for accounting stay.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser; the site works without analytics cookies, and you’ll be asked to sign in again without the session cookie.
Children
Minute of Fame isn’t for children under 13, and buying, renting or cashing out requires being 18 or older. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users. See also the terms of service.
